Meeting arrangements for the rest of this week (7th, 8th and 9th March)

We are happy to say that the worst of the weather has passed and that the remainder of this weeks surveys will be going ahead! For tomorrow (Wednesday), Thursday and Friday we will be meeting at St Pauls Church in Rusland at 9.30am (see pink dot on map below) where there will be enough parking for everyone. From there we will carshare to the survey locations each day as there is limited parking at the sites and we will aim to start the survey at 10am.

The weather for the rest of the week looks very reasonable although there may be some light rain showers so bringing waterproofs would be advisable. Although the worst of the cold weather seems to have passed you will need to dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear such as walking boots. You will also need to bring your own lunch and refreshments including drinks.

Tomorrows survey is completely booked but there are a couple of spaces left on Thursday (7th) and Friday (8th), if you would like to book a place you can book online at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/rusland-horizons-spring-woodland-archaeology-surveys-2018-registration-41456852562 these events are free to attend but numbers are limited so booking is essential.
